HPTDC8-PCI

Time-to-digital converter

The HPTDC was a breakthrough in TDC technology, with unprecedented flexibility.
.

.

This time interval analyzer has facilitated astonishing results in atomic physics over the last 15 years. Over the years it has been applied as an OEM product in many time of flight mass spectrometers in high volume. Today it should only be used as a time interval meter if a PCI bus is absolutely required. For new projects, we recommend the xHPTDC8 instead.

Applications:

low energy nuclear physics

LENP in nuclear astrophysics (NAP), cosmology and astronomy
While many aspects of nuclear physics are considered well understood after almost 100 years of research, several challenging questions are still open and under investigation. Our TDCs are used in gas detectors for nuclear physics experiments helping to understand the microcosm of the nucleus.
