Time interval counters are used to measure the intervals between electronic pulses. They work very similar to frequency counters and therefore often offer a variety of other digital measurement and time functions in the form of universal devices, e.g. to determine frequencies, pulse widths, rise and fall times, periods, phases, and detection of events, some of which are added or related to each other. The time intervals are measured with a resolution of only a few picoseconds. Our TDCs can be used as time interval analyzers. The highest frequency that can be measured is determined by the maximum measurement rate per channel and the double pulse resolution.
